Jason (and others willing to display trains),
Well, with all this stock it looks like we are half way there already! -
will these items fit onto a module (see nbltc.org) or two modules?
Essentially, a couple of trial runs are needed prior to the LLW event where
we can all get together to assemble a large layout and place buildings,
viewing points, control locations etc.
Modules are 1277 long x 638 wide (nominal 1280x640 when bolted up)and share
proportions with a 2x4 lego brick. With a dozen modules we could set up a
really decent display 6400 x 2560 (about 21ft x 8ft 6) with a central well
to hide in about 4ft x 17ft.
NBLTC will have the first 6 modules assembled and running this Saturday. Are
there any takers for the rest?
