For a limited number of months the 4105 will ship with Gold bricks/anniversay edition, then will quickly move back to it's original packaging. Same with another system bucket/tub, and 2 duplo bucket/tubs. (19 years ago, 13-Aug-05, to lugnet.loc.ca)

I just picked one of these up to check the contents. I have not done an inventory but it does look like a good piece selection --- 1000 pieces. Interesting that it does not have a new set number. It is labelled as 4496 but has a black tub with a (...) (19 years ago, 12-Aug-05, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Likewise around Mississauga area, they hit 70 a week before Christmas and GONE! Even at 100 that's a steal BUT BE WARNED, the track in the main set, is one colour grey, and the add-on boxes are another!! Silly packaging. (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.loc.ca)
