Rule when making purchases from the US.

Always have the sender declare the value as being under $100 US and describe the
contents as "construction toy/parts" not lego.

Canadians also have to pay GST on purchases made on behalf of Ozzys unlike in the
US.

Most serious OZ lego maniacs have at least one "yank" they can trust to make
purchases on their behalf. There not such a bad lot when you get to know them
:)  Canadian contacts are OK but Canada Post recently started using cubic mass
for international parcels rates so airmail postage is now exorbitant.

I may have heard wrong, but didn't some people get an overseas order a short
time ago and have to pay a heap in customs? If not then I'll have to get me
a Canadian contact! (at least, till the end of the year, hopefully).
