In my knowlege, there are at least two versions of this set:
- a UK version containing a sticker sheet with the Britain flag, see http://www.hccamsterdam.nl/brickfactory/stikkers/index.htm and scroll down towards: Number 1592
- a Dutch version, containing a sticker sheet with the Netherlands flag, as one can see applied to the “Straight LEGO Flag”-part depicted on the LUGNET set picture.

Unfortunately the LEGO CD Chapter 12 - Promotional Sets only went to 1982. This
set is a 1983 set in the Netherlands, but now that I look at my notes, it was a
1980 set in Britain, and should have been included.
By the way the #15xx and #16xx sets were promotional sets for companies. Does
anyone know what the #1589 was a promotional set for? Or was this just (as
someone had mentioned in the Lugnet notes) just the European equivalent to the
USA #6390 Main Street set that was only sold in UK and the Netherlands?

It is just as the information in the LUGNET database says (...) (18 years ago, 5-Feb-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)
