Considering how much selling I do, it may sound crazy, but the answer is
mostly A. The reason is that *my* Lego collection is kept completely
separate from the stuff I sell - the for-sale stuff I don't count at all as
part of my collection. I do use my collection for building kit prototypes,
but that's the fun part of the process anyway so it definitely contributes
to A!
