Then there are people like me, who straddle the fine line between both camps.
I love to build official Lego sets, because some of them are superbly
designed. I also often get design ideas from them.
On the other hand, I'm also into making MOC's. Thus exotic colors and cool
parts are also of interest to me. Of course my favorite sets would be those
that are at the same time well designed and with cool new parts. This is why
I'm so enamored by much of the Star Wars line.
