Scott: (...) Perhaps as a fitting punishment the Court should allow TLC to pick the guy's new name. (...) Come on! If that were all it takes to get thrown in jail, the streets would be empty! Dave! (24 years ago, 31-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Anyone heard this story yet? —Eric Joslin
(...) Hmm. Lego: As punishment, we choose your name to be "Jar Jar".           Re: Anyone heard this story yet? —Dave Schuler
(...) At least in that case Lucasfilm would have to recognize that Jar Jar is a pretty god-awful name (and, I would submit, possibly the worst character in all of science fiction). Dave! (24 years ago, 31-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Anyone heard this story yet? —Eric Joslin
(...) For a human, yeah. (...) I don't know about that, but I doubt Lucasfilm would be comfortable with a corporate partner taking that position in any kind of official way. eric (24 years ago, 31-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Anyone heard this story yet? —Dave Schuler
(...) And to human ears, too. We've all heard the semi-apocryphal story that George let his kid name some characters when George's strained creative juices had run sour.          Re: Anyone heard this story yet? —Eric Kingsley
(...) Sorry but I just have to throw my 2 cents in here. IMHO this is TLC's own darn fault. It shows their incompitance when it comes to the internet.           Re: Anyone heard this story yet? —Matthew Miller
(...) Agreed. In this particular case, it seems pretty logical that "legolandwindsor" is probably associated with the Lego theme park with a similar name.            Re: Anyone heard this story yet? —Eric Kingsley

Re: Anyone heard this story yet? —Matthew Miller
