I saw that too. Forget where. Might've seen it as a training film for FOD,
or on Discovery channel or something.
The vulture strike wasn't as severe as that, but still pretty bad.
One thing that really amazed me was all the empty space available in the
leading edge of the wing. It seemed cavernous, with wiring harnesses strung
leisurely between spars. The F-16 wing leading edge on the other hand is
packed. Tighter than 2 pounds of spamcake in a 1 pound tin. Which makes it
hell to work on.

I bet. And they would probably keep having departure delays due to having
some fool out in front of the aircraft with his head stuck up against the the
gun......

Glad to see ya again. Think you'll be putting out new models (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)
