The biggest challenge would be (IMO) a convincingly round set of engine
nacelles.  I've actually played with this problem the most, as I was trying to
cook up a believable VTOL with round nacelles as well.  Everything I came up
with was either too blocky or too stepped, or both.  We almost need an
anti-aliasing tool for Lego pieces.  :-,


The tool is called a sander :)

(...) a (...) Short of throwing together a few sketches of some of the body parts, I haven't gotten very far with a minifig-scale version.
