That is true. I had not thought about the metal bars, I was just thinking

the canopy, and I thought that would be to steep for the back of the canopy.

Okay heres my take on this.
I'm going to give you Ldraw numbers so have your parts list handy...

Naboo canopy for the back. It's the only one. I think you could try 2437, its
the windsheild that comes with most town aircraft. On top of the put two 3040s
the 2X1 45 degree slope. 3045s would be optimal, but they don't come in clear.

As for missles, I have built many different kind of laser guided air-ground
type bombs. These and Mavericks are easy to make, and common on A-10s.

Low vis. grey is your only color choice.

As for me and the love affair with the A-10, when I was a kid that what I
wanted to do. All my friends wanted to fly navy, of F-16s, but I wanted to fly
low and slow and blow up tanks. Still do.
I went to summer camp in upper NY. It was close to Griffiths AFB. We used to
see A-10 on manuvers. I can tell you, nothing, Nothing is cooler than seeing
three A-10s at about 1000 feet flying in formation then running a scatter and
evade drill. Each plane goes somewhere else in about three seconds. F-16s would
probable fell apart trying that stuff.

The A-10 is a BIG bird, but the worst part about them is the noise. If any
thing at the same size is louder, than I'd be suprised!

I think the hardest part is that spiffy little curl on the wing tips. If you
can pull that off in Lego, you are a master worthy of true worship.

By the way, the gun is as long as the whole front of the plane. It is offset
from the centerline, as is the main wheel.

Um, not to be a pain, but I don't think this discussion belongs in lugnet.off-topic.debate... It probably doesn't belong in lugnet.starwars anymore either (and does it really need to be in lugnet.general?) Follow-ups to: lugnet.admin.general (I wish (...)
