Re: LEGO Rulers 4 Pirate Game

(...) I've read Evil Steve's Pirate Game rules, and it says nothing about 1 inch = 4 studs. I've never measured it, so I don't know how long 4 studs actually are. ~Clangador (20 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.gaming)

Re: LEGO Rulers 4 Pirate Game

(...) It says nothing about a lot of other things that every GM I've ever played under does, too. Using LEGO rulers adds to the charm of the game, in my view. I guess I'm not sure what outcome you want, exactly. (...) Pretty close. (20 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.pirates)

(...) I'm not looking for any specific outcome. Thinking about it, it might be cool to use LEGO to measure ranges and such.   Re: LEGO Rulers 4 Pirate Game

(...) Yes. I've found that having 2 basic sizes will serve you well - a relatively long range (say about 20 inches or so) per player or (less preferable) pair of players, made of 2x4s, with 4-5 layers of bricks/plates so that it's pretty sturdy.   Re: LEGO Rulers 4 Pirate Game

(...) It depends partly on your reason for doing so. Using a smaller unit would allow you to play a "larger" game field in a small, confined space. A 4-stud unit is to a 4' playing space as a 3-stud unit is to a 3' playing space. Well, other than (...) (20 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.pirates)
