RE: Criteria for a good toy (was RE: Fabulous Lego Drawings)

(...) Isn't that to be expected? After all, this was quoted from the "LEGO Krant", ie, the LEGO Newspaper. --Bram Bram Lambrecht BXL34@po.cwru.edu (URL) (24 years ago, 1-Sep-00, to lugnet.fabuland, lugnet.general)

Re: Criteria for a good toy (was RE: Fabulous Lego Drawings)

Criteria for a good toy (was RE: Fabulous Lego Drawings)

(...) bullets (or in this case a numbered list) always tends to catch the eye. So here is my translation of the list of criteria for a good toy: ((URL) 1) It must provide limitless possibilities for play. 2) It must be for girls and boys equally. 3) (...)   S. Bonsma Reviews Mickey Sets

Sybrand, thank you for your reviews of 4 of the new Mickey sets. I completely missed seeing them until today. Thank goodness for Todd's Spolight page!   Fabulous Lego Drawings

While bumbling around recent additions to Kevin Loch's Brickshelf, I saw a real treasure added by Frank Buiting. While I haven't a clue as to what the text says the drawings are delightful and can be appreciated by all. (URL) I sure would like to (...)   Re: Mailboxes vs. safes

(...) The chest-lids (and bottoms) of the Belville Sets are the same as the Fabuland ones, only different colors. Also the mailbox top is similar to those chest-lids, only a shorter version (4x4 vs. 6x4). The mailbox bottom is also similar, but (...)   Re: Mailboxes vs. safes

(...) Cool. I noticed the top looked similar to various chest-lids (like in the recent Belville Castle sets and (I think) Adventurers). But I don't have the Fabuland piece to check if it's the same, or just similar. (24 years ago, 31-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.ca.nalug, lugnet.fabuland)

  thoughts on the Mickey sets

hi all well, i heard they were coming, I saw the pics on the net, heard the comments and then I finally saw them for myself. Yes, I bought them. As much as I dislike The Rodent, I felt, as a Fabuland collector, it was very necessary to buy these (...) (24 years ago, 27-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.fabuland)

  FABULAND! (and lots of it)

I am looking for expressions of interest in forming a group to buy a large collection of Fabuland (5 crates full, including 500 minifigs) that won't be seperated by the seller.   Now we know it's a birdcage on a turntable...

When I posted the first pics of Disney sets, we had a disscussion about what things were in the picture. And, one of those strange things was a birdcage with a bird, on a long plate and a turntable. Some people didnät believe it was a turntable, it (...) (24 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.fabuland, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)
