I would be all for the 16x16 scale if it wasn't for how hard it is to get them in gray. They're only really available in one set that is recent and there aren't that many on bricklink. Although they aren't that expensive. Damn LEGO, start selling 16 x 16 baseplates in gray for a $1. :-) What does everyone think? I will not enforce the 12 x 12 idea. (...) As is obvious from our photos of the meeting, we skipped the baseplate all togheter in the layout (for the most part). This worked for our needs but having a plate is better. We didn't even bother connecting all the corridors with pins. Mostly (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jan-04, to lugnet.space)
