Re: Never noticed this before . . .

Nah, I noticed the issue with ODG well before bley came on the scene. But the variations I have aren't severe enough to affect anything I've built yet (unlike the purple). (...) -- Tom Stangl *(URL) Visual FAQ home *(URL) Visual FAQ Home (19 years ago, 10-Apr-05, to lugnet.color)

Re: Never noticed this before . . .

(...) Over the long term the colors most prone to yellowing (due to sunlight) are blue, gray and white. Of course with all the new Lego colors out, it will be interesting to see which new colors also have this tendency (obviously those that are (...) (19 years ago, 9-Apr-05, to lugnet.color)

Re: Never noticed this before . . .

(...) Tons of factors can change the color of parts--either pre-forming, during forming, and post-forming of parts. To make better use of product, there's the application of "regrind". Regrind are parts that didn't form fully, or sprues/trees from a (...) (19 years ago, 8-Apr-05, to lugnet.color)

(...) You can't believe the various shades of grey in my light grey tub--from the original space sets to the technic pieces from a few years back--all different shades of grey. I do know that with age comes discolouration, especially if you leave (...) (19 years ago, 8-Apr-05, to lugnet.color)

  Never noticed this before . . .

Hey all, Just recently while working on a project I've lined up LOTS of those black arches from Star Wars #7201 Final Duel II and I noticed that there are several shades of black! Additionally, while rummaging through my drawer of large original (...) (19 years ago, 7-Apr-05, to lugnet.color)

  Purple problems persisting?

Hey all, Just got one of the new X-pods recently (the one that's purple and lime green), and several of the purple pieces bear the same discrepancy that was discussed to death when the Knight Bus first arrived. However, after first glance I noticed (...) (20 years ago, 2-Apr-05, to lugnet.color)

Re: Reply 6: Issues vs. Mistakes

(...) I'm keeping out of the color discussions, but I can answer this one. The 'Beige' on the list IS what we know as Tan.
