Well, I think we should do some planning :)  Jeff Stembel has undertaken
building the meeting place for us, so I will go ahead and reserve a few

One thing I was planning was to have the gathering "hosted" at my castle, Caer
Gwynnyd.  It would necessitate a rebuild, but I've been planning that for a
while anyway.  :)  However, I don't think I could make nearly enough guest
quarters for even close to everyone to stay in, so I'd like to encourage the
camp idea.

Also ... how about creating a landscape of baseplates, trees and such where
people could set up their camp and or just a sleeping bag (hmmm ... that
would be fun to build out of legos.

Wow! Definitely. What an awesome idea. I agree w/Craig, we should all bring
baseplates. We could either prepare the camp ahead of time, or build it
on-the-spot (assuming there wil be K8 boxes again this year).

Yes, I'd like it if everyone brought a campsite, or at least the parts to make
one.  I know I cannot supply those parts...

i really hope i can make it to this event.  i missed out last year and the
cw gathering shaping up for this year is a real incentive to make the trip.
i'm torn because the san diego comicon is the same weekend! <aaeerrrrgghhh!>

Brickfest, Brickfest!!!  But if you do go to Comicon, you can get me the
autographs of any Japanese guests they have.  ;D

Hey Craig, it's so great to see you back here, I was hoping you'd de-lurk and give us a heads-up! We sure did miss your presence around here (I did, at least!) (...) So have we kinda decided (by default) that the delegates will be royal? It does (...) (23 years ago, 10-Apr-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)
