You can purchase sets #3344 and #3345 from S@H. They have actually been available from S@H for some time now. However, I've never seen them shown in the catalogues. -L (24 years ago, 3-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: pirate + ninja

  Re: Whoo hoo!!!

(...) I like the minifig pack and the miniheroes, but more than anything, I wish Lego would release a Ninja accessory pack with swords, helmets, etc so I may continue my tradition of "Samur-izing" every minifig and his brother... I felt the same way (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: pirate + ninja

(...) "Blind Man's Bluff" is a great book about the history of submarine warfare. (...) Japanese pirates during the period that the Ninja sets apply often picked up Koreans from ports they raided as part of the crew. Chris (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja, lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Time to get acquainted...

My name is Sun and I TOO am a Lego Ninja theme fan. Like many other compatriots on this board, I was brought out of my dark ages thanks in part to this theme.   Ninja Themed Armies

I didn't even notice this news group until today. It's great that there is a place now where I can be sure to see stuff on ninja and nothing else to water things down :) So I was just wondering, how big are everyone's ninja armies? I asked this (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Whoo hoo!!!

(...) Maybe not as ambitious as you think. I was only going to build one of the main donjon but it would span 4 large grey baseplates - am guessing 84n x 84 studs wide at the base of the donjon.   Ninja classifications

I spent last night sorting my ninjas and was wondering how you guys categorized them. There are black, grey, white, red, and green ninjas. So does each ninja class perform different jobs in your worlds? (24 years ago, 1-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: pirate + ninja

(...) To the best of my knowledge, junks (later called san-pans) were Chinese/Korean in origin.   Re: pirate + ninja

(...) That's a great scene! You can build some neat small ships out of non-pirate pieces - then you could do a Commodore Perry scene. Well, you have definitely inspired me - I already have my pirate crew assembled, and I'm going to start working on (...) (24 years ago, 1-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja, lugnet.pirates)

Re: What kinds of rooms are in Japanese castles ?

  Re: pirate + ninja

Re: What kinds of rooms are in Japanese castles ?

4 48x48 plates? Are you sure that will be big enough ?_? I went there years ago and all I remember is that the rooms were small and the floors were dark brown wood...   Re: pirate + ninja

There is a big Pirate Game get-together that is supposed to be happening in June, and I was thinking about the possibility of building an island inhabited by Ninja types. I would love to (...)   What kinds of rooms are in Japanese castles ?

  Re: Whoo hoo!!!

(...) I looked at all these when I was at Legoland - I felt 3344 was dreadfully overpriced for a single figure. The set with the green ninja was okay, but still on the high side. Bruce (24 years ago, 28-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Whoo hoo!!!

(...) The Mini Heroes Collection, sets 3344, 3345, 3346, add a little more variation. I especially like 3344 with it's black armor and horned helmet.
