Hi! :-D I've posted some visual instructions for making "flame" markers/counters at: "(URL) idea of using 1x1 cones with flames is one that I got from Steve Jackson when I helped him run his Lego Pirate Game ("(URL) came up with the variation of (...) (...) Yes to some extent. I think my progression went something like this. Basic-town-Classic Space-Technic-Star Wars-Castle Early to Mid 70's was just Basic and some Town. Then I went hard core into Classic Space and stayed with it from when it (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

But I felt I should migrate to technic after 12 for some reason... we had a lego- logo class using dacta stuff and I loved it. So after one small techie set I bought a really (...) Back when I was about 12-14, I was highly into the castle stuff. I still like castle (and read this group), but I primarily like town stuff these days. In my current LEGO city, only about 15% is castle (actually just one big castle) and 85% town (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

OK, audience is > 0 for a web page about catapults. I spent some time at a recent exhibit on Da Vinci and Brunelleschi and other artist-engineers. There were many catapult designs there! Actually, the model that was under development was the (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

The pumpkin graphics used in the contest site were made with Photoshop trickery. No minifig head were painted to make the contest graphics. I think Brian Nelson's entry had a pumpkin he made that was fairly elegant. Two side notes..... One: I built (...)
