Hello LUGNET members, Last weekend COLTC put on our largest single display (25'x25') at our local GATS in Columbus Ohio. And it turned out great! As I continue to plan how I will build my next castle, as my parts are currently used in other things, I began to think of the Castle's Keep. Certainly there are a number of castles in south wales and the borders areas made like raglan, of sandstone. They look odd after hundreds of years of weathering as the bricks themselves have worn down but the mortar hasn't (21 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle)

I really don't have a problem with the community trying to set up a web-site and trying to get the community to come together. I agree (with Terry) that saying that a certain site will be the one-stop shop is insulting. The one point I'd like to (...) I did a quicky test using a 1x1 with four studs just to see if a tile will fit between the two bricks, and it does work. Since you'd be using 1x1 bricks to hold (...) Simply my humble opinion, but it strikes me that the new castle sets are making something of a departure stylistically from previous sets. The figures, armor and weapons seem more like a cross between the MegaBloks line and the "classic" Lego (...) (21 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle)
