Hmm, interestingly (and unfortunate if it is correct) it appears that the Griffin does not have the space in it’s back that horses have in order to add a saddle and rider in the normal manner. I am basing this on the angle shown in http://www.classic-castle.com/sets/images/preview/hp/4753.jpg , where the hollow-top studs can be seen on the animals back. I’m hoping this is incorrect, but if it is, I hope it is an easy mod to cut out the slot, it would make for an interesting mount.

Hope this hasn’t been brought up before.
