Re: banner year for castle —Benjamin Whytcross
(...) Looking at the sets...I can see a couple of good ideas for MOC's, some good parts, but some terrible colour selections. I like the tower wall sections in 8780 with attatched barred windows. Benjamin Whytcross (21 years ago, 16-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: banner year for castle —James Stacey
The giant coats of arms are the shields off the big knights sets. So if you have all the big knights you can change the heraldry for the minifig sets. looking at that set too, I guess the things the knights are on may have little motors in them to (...)         Re: banner year for castle —Bryan Kinkel
James, Thanks for posting this. I'm sure there will be a lot of discussion about this over the next few days. Out of curiosity, what set did this come out of? And was the scan from a new 2004 catalog? New mini flyer? Bryan "James Stacey" (...) (21 years ago, 16-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: banner year for castle —James Stacey
The picture is from the new knights kingdom big bionidor type sets, on the back of the instructions. Phil scanned the back of the 8774 - 'Vladek' instructions. (I actually nipped to TrU at lunch to buy the set to get a closer look - sad, huh) (21 years ago, 16-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: banner year for castle —Bruce Schlickbernd
(...) I already typed extensive comments on Classic-Castle, so I'll be brief here. It's basically Knights Kingdom Redux, with all the faults of the previous.      sorry to dissapoint you, no its not fake. Go out and buy one of the new knights kingdom (big guy) sets if you don't belive it. And if I was going to fake a load of sets, I'd hope people would be much happier with what they saw :) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle)
