........LOL!!!

Sounds like my mother....

I'm in Anthony Sava's position...post college situation.

I am in the same position as you both, Looking for a job so I can get more lego!

My mom always gives me the "what for" looks when I am seen bringing in another
box of lego...or when another arrives....

Got this one the other day when a box showed up, My mom at least somewhat
understands, though she doesn't always like it.  I just keep telling her I could
be wasting the money sitting at the bar getting drunk every night instead.  Or
heaven forbid out buying drugs or some other illegal thing..  At least to me the
money is spent wisely on Lego.

(I finally decided to have all my foreign shipments come to my mailbox, at
least she can stop hounding me about them!!!) :)

I am not the most neatest person, and probably am more like a severe lazy
slob....so I won't enlighten you about the pics of my collection...
well having a collection that is reaching past the 80,000 piece mark crammed
into a 8 foot by 10 foot room.  (but that is another issue altogether)

I feel your pain.. I have a 9ft by 11ft room that is holding my almost 70,000
piece collection also a entertainment center, dresser, computer desk with 3
computers, my bed and a building table...  I was lucky I was able to take over a
closet in another room for my clothes and we built shelves into my closet, it's
the ONLY way I would have been able to get everything into this room.

(...) Oh my gawd! You are sooo kewl… I've been known to have uttered that self-same statement!!! (I've said: “give me a break mom, would you rather me be like all those collage punks who drop their paychecks every night at a bar?”) (...) Exactly! (...)
