(...) I think Travis' wording may be confusing. Don't use "the old dither algorithm". MLCad 3.30 draws colors 256-511 as *solid* colors. Hi, sorry to say, but I just found a bug in MLCad which is caused by the actual compiler I'm using. When you start printing preview in MLCad it is crashing when part lists are printed. I'm working on that .... Michael (14 years ago, 10-Feb-10, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Hello Don, (...) I thought the LDraw group doesn't allow any other colors than the standard ones? Even so I was in the assumption that I didn't create any special colors, but I toulk them over from some old spec where these colors where mentioned. I (...) (...) I noticed that when I remove LDConfig.ldr the old dithered colors are available, but no longer dithered. They're now solid colors. That's a big improvement! Hello Michael (...) I'm currently looking into that. (...) ? I cannot understand. There is no such range, MLCad takes that what comes from LDConfig nothing more, nothing less. No files are actually missing: I can find all the files MLCad complains about in my LDraw\Unofficial\P\48 folder, and when I dump all the unofficial files (...) (...) Willy's explanation is correct. This part in the unofficial library references primitives that don't exist - anywhere (except maybe on the author's own system). So MLcad is unable to fully render it, even with a full copy of the unofficial (...) (15 years ago, 3-Jul-09, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

I start with an empty file and click on the Technic section of the parts tree and get a load of warnings about 48\peghole.dat and a number of other files that are missing. I have a LDraw\Unofficial folder with all the unofficial parts and MLCad.ini with the lines corresponding to the location of those unofficial parts uncommented. (...) Sure. Right click on the treeview, and go to Parts Tree -> Tree Configuration. This opens a dialog box with all the treeview entries. Now just type in the name of the category, and the rule that matches it (to make a minifig category, enter (...) (15 years ago, 5-May-09, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Hi All I have developed a program called Peeron_to_MLCad. It's useful to simplify the initial phase of implementation of existing Lego sets. With Peeron_to_MLCad is possible to reduce drastically the time needed to select the parts and find the (...) (...) They should be fine if you use LDView to do the POV export, and make sure "Fix mirrored stud logos" is checked in the export options, and don't use LGEO parts. (...) If you put a minus sign in front of one of the ones in an identity matrix, and leave everything else alone, it will mirror about the corresponding axis. I'm trying to learn how to use LSynth and I've run into a couple of 'problems' that appear to be MLCad related (please correct me if I'm wrong).
