Maybe I'm looking at the wrong installer version, but when I run a case and
whitespace insensitive diff I see lots of real changes. New constraints and
synth types, orientation and part offset tweaks, etc. Right near the top of
the file there are several new comments that provide some insight as to the
real changes.
Added TECHNIC_CHAIN_TREAD_38.
Renamed TECHNIC_LINK_TREAD to TECHNIC_CHAIN_TREAD.
Added BRICK_ARC. Added new constraints.
Added ELECTRIC_POWER_FUNCTIONS_CABLE.
Fixed singular matrix on constraint 57520.dat.
Fixed constraint offsets on TECHNIC_CHAIN_TREAD_38.
Fixed constraint offsets on 57520 & 6628.
Added LS09.dat - RCX cable constraint
With all those changes, and probably more, I'd go with the new file.
Enjoy,
Don
