Although having both the instructions and the set is infinitely better than having neither the instructions nor the set, a set can probably be *checked* having only the instructions and not the set, to an accuracy of 99% or higher (if (...) Someone with only the instructions ought to be able to find suspicious looking things (e.g., potential mistakes), but probably can't prove something to be 100.00% correct. I really don't think a new one is necessary... who's gonna look inside of the torso when they are looking at something in ldraw... well... maybe this might come from some of those "anal" people on that other thread :) as long as the torso has the (...) Dear Tim, I agree with idea to standardize the TLG model header and filename. Some comments: Tim Courtney wrote in message ... (...) 1.   Buildmpd utility
 
Awhile ago, I grabbed the source code for Jacob Sparre Andersen's buildmpd utility. I compiled it, and I've been using it since then. There are two different ways to look at "uninlining": one view is that it's simply removing the extra code, and restoring the original reference statement.   MPD, the OMR, and Incomplete Parts
 
Since we appear to be using MPD for the Model Repository, I think its usefulness could be extended. Because of the patterned parts rule - if there isn't a decorated element for a set use the undecorated version - we will need a list of all errors in (...) We should develop rules for official model creating and submitting to the OMR. First off, we can't expect all submissions to follow our header/filename system.
