and I believe the original suggestion was that keywords by themselves with
spaces surrounding couldn't be used in a color name.  (It didn't actually say
this, but I suspect that was the intent.)

That seems reasonable.

While this is still probably do-able, I think my original argument about the
possible creation of future tags still holds (unless you're also agreeing to the
enforced ordering I suggested).  Additionally, I really don't think users will
be restricted all that much by disallowing spaces.
