I didn't take it as a "slam" but i appreciate the message.  You might have
actually noticed i cleaned up the folder a little bit, deleted some of the
older cars.  Two reasons for this- one there are a lot more models coming,
after all i just got  bunch of new parts, and two a lot of them were just
MLcad pics.  These were fine when i was just starting, but now i am
preparing renders of them- much more professional.

Yeah, accurate cars are hard to model at minifig scale, but i tried.
Actually i only gave actual names to the first batch, then just gave them
names like racetruck- generic names are much more fitting.  Now i moved to
tuning pre-existing cars from older lego sets.

Hello Gregory,

I agree, the shape of automobiles is hard to selectively compress in scale and
still be "recognizable" as their full scale counterparts. I get the feeling it
would almost be easier to model in microfig because you could get away with
more abstraction.

That being said,I hope you didn't take my comments about your MOCs as a slam
(it kind of comes off that way, though, sorry). The models themselves were
REALLY cool, which is why I wanted to point my kids to the site. A lot of my
students drive those kinds of cars, so they'd get a kick out of your MOCs. I'm
into old Mopars, so it's not quite my cup of tea, but the parts themselves
would be fun to model.

Darrell
