Such a program should not be complicated to write. But I think that the results could be disapointing. I explain why :
Solidworks stores the assemblies almost like in Ldraw files : a reference to a part and a transformation.
But, the transformation relies on the orientation of the part. As you said, you weren't aware Ldraw part library, there
is a big chance that the orientation of your parts differs from Ldraw library.
I will try to write a quick and dirty converter and send it to you. Give me your feedback.

| Hi all, A question: I've made a big assembly of a MOC technic sportscar in Solidworks. (Before I knew there is the existence of MLcad and LEOcad.) (URL) there any program that can convert such files to Ldraw?? It would be very nice because .dat, (...) (22 years ago, 17-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad)
