I had thought that the minifig forearm didn't contain type 5 lines, but this
appears not to be the case. I'll have to take a closer look at that; thanks.
If you can find any concrete examples of settings changes not working
properly, please let me know. I don't in any way doubt your claim, but
there are so many different settings combinations that I doubt I will be
able to find the problem without specifics.
As for the having different registry settings for different versions: it
would be fairly easy to do (although upgrading would take a little work),
but I don't think it's worth adding. You should be able to run multiple
different version of LDView simultaneously using the same registry settings.
The old versions will ignore any new settings, but I rarely add new values
to existing settings, so there shouldn't be many (if any) problems.
