Wow! I finally got around to trying this out. It's just amazing. Anyone
care to hazard a guess at how long it took to render all of Datsville?

51.47 seconds, and only on a PII 200 Mhz machine. With Line-as-stud
selected, it's just 24 seconds. Of course at 5% view size, you can't see
many details, but this will be perfect for getting sections of Datsville
right. I'm re-energized to get moving on this again.
A couple of things I'd love to see added to this:
Ability to drag the object to move it into view (or at least be able to add
x- and y-offsets.)
Can L3 work with LDAO's editor, like LDLite does? That would be great for
part creation, too.
And, of course, bitmap output would be great.

| As you may know I have been cooking on this L3 program for more than two years now (not that this tells anything about its size and quality ;-) However, I believe L3 now has so many useful features that many of you (especially part authors) also (...) (25 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)
