In the process of getting my notes together I have noticed that the

Um, I cant tell the difference between the different types you defined,
nor do I see the need to narrow down the term. Where is the
confusion? Why is this needed?

I dont get basic building instructions, but I do get Building Instructions
vs. Building Instruction Images. LPub (when you dont use the wonderful
post-processing page layout features) outputs a series of images that just
represent the graphic for a step. Then, you can take that output and arrange
it in a layout program. Those would be Building Instruction Images, the raw
output that hasnt been formatted yet.

BBI came out in my mind becuase I wanted a narrow term for polished BII in a
layout. BBI and BII are both subsets of BIs. I chose BBI to get the acroynms
all with the letters B and I. BBI could also be called Background Building
Instructions. =)
BIs can be more than just want (we) the lego community use to show our stuff on
the web. While nobody has done it yet, they could have used video ortext only
instructions.
The need comes about with the new articles I am writing for the BI portal on BI
Theory, BIs for the web, etc. In my writing I have noticed that the term BI is
TOO BORAD for the article. Thus the BII and BBI. =)
Anyone else got feedback?

Quick example... try reading your paragraph above out loud. I think you'll find it's a mouthful. :) (...) (21 years ago, 13-Sep-03, to lugnet.inst, lugnet.cad, FTX)
