(...) wxWidgets isn't bad, but for serious, heavy-UI applications, Qt is far, far better. Its QtCreator IDE & debugger isn't bad either, and is easy to get started with. After almost 11 years of dealing with Datsville, I still find the coordinate system confusing. This picture may help to understand a little. (URL) yellow line is the z axis at x=0.
