this is quite cool, bram. i particularly like the use of pink elements and the bubble over the cockpit/driver's seat. it opens up a whole new range of possibilities (flying versions of classic cars). good stuff! ..joseph g (...) thanks, john i've also done that color scheme (i call it space police III) for a couple of my own models just for fun. if you liked the sub-theme color-swapping check out roger rothhaar's page, (URL) got some very cool models (mobile outpost and (...) A few recommendation when using CAD -> convert program(ex:stl2dat) to modelise parts: - The tesselation paramater should be set so that a regular cylinder is output with 16 facets. I didn't know that about POV-ray. The only things I've rendered in it have been floating in space, so I've never tried something hovering over a reflective surface. Another impressive part, Marc. It looks like it needs little edgelines added where the "fins" slope down and meet the outer surface.
