Hi Rick.If your looking still for good source material for your SSN project, go down to your local bookstore and pick up a copy of Tom Clancey's "SUBMARINE: A Guided Tour Of A Nuclear Warship." Rick & All, (...) U.S.S. Missouri ship in Pearl Harbor, and it was an absolute pain for me to try to manuever in that thing! (Since I am a rather big guy) My video of the events was funny to see. (...) Feel free; I'll do the same. The turret on the nose is a ball turret, actually; it rotates and tilts. We can fudge some of that, but I want it to be as close as possible if I can. I'm working on a rather ambitious project - a minifig-scale WWII/Korean War bomber (1 stud = 1 foot). It is the Navy's PB4Y-2 "Privateer", which is derived from the B-24. The most realistic Lego MOC i have seen, the smoothness helps a lot but the proportions and the angles are what makes it. Any chance of a DAT of it?
