I'm working on a rather ambitious project - a minifig-scale WWII/Korean War
bomber (1 stud = 1 foot). It is the Navy's PB4Y-2 "Privateer", which is
derived from the B-24. My dad flew Privateers in the Korean War (dropping
flares, not bombs).
So far I have most of the fuselage, the wings and tail, and the side turrets
built. I'm having trouble with the dorsal, nose, and tail turrets however.
They just don't match the capabilities of LEGO, and I thought I'd solicit
advice from some of the more experienced (especially the SNOTmasters) builders
on LUGNET.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

| (...) Cool! The only Korean war era plane I've ever considered is the tigercat, congrats for being the first! (I think :-D)> (...) I'm no master yet, but I have some experience and a lot of unshown tinkering with turrets etc. so I'll go on it (...) (23 years ago, 14-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)
