I've been experimenting with building elevated highways, and have several questions pertaining to such. I wanted to build on a scale of about 3 meters/stud, but I don't think that's an adequate resolution if I want to put in realistic curves, anyone (...) We decided it would be fun to build a model of Philadelphia's Ben Franklin Bridge on the Delaware River (...) Stuff I want to see: Better variety of Transparent Fluro Orange and especially Transparent Dark Blue elements. More parts similar to the 1 x 1 with studs on all sides. This is my latest LEGO architectural piece. It is a fictitious clock tower that is less than minifig scale. It is roughly 33 stories tall (four and a half feet) my tallest LEGO skyscraper yet. (...) Close, but not quite. I just got the Summer S@H catalog today, and the black faceted slopes used on that mech's waist are 18 degree slopes, but #22a has the proportions of a 33 degree slope. (...) quite sturdy, it's travelled quite well to two different locations and while others things (especially trees and baseplates) have fallen apart, the staircase remains intact. it's an improvement on a previous model (see cliffhouse in brickshelf (...) (...) too late! it's long gone, but i'm using a partially curved staircase in my present moc and have improved on it to make it stronger. the staircase in the cliff house was extremely fragile and more often than not fell over when i removed the 3rd (...)
