is how you made the spiral staircase. I’ve created spiral stairs too, but
never thought of using the 1-stud pieces that way. I may have to give it a

might want to consider making an Ldraw file of it.

too late! it’s long gone, but i’m using a partially curved staircase in my
present moc and have improved on it to make it stronger. the staircase in the
cliff house was extremely fragile and more often than not fell over when i
removed the 3rd floor level. the new design uses the 1x1 round plates and 1x2
jumper plates. check for a posting in the next week or two and you’ll see how i
did it.

That way you can still ‘look’ at it even if the original’s gone, and could
even rebuild it if you ever wanted to using the Ldraw file as a reference.

i also take detailed digital photos for reference which i prefer over my ldraw
files. but thanks for the suggestion! glad you enjoyed the house.
