I've uploaded some pictures of the Snottler II. It is a rebuild of the patrol boat Snottler, lengthened, widened and upgunned. Some really nice models here. The level of detail is what I find fascinating, from the tank track wheels on the Panzer to the definition of the chopper nose (Getting the round shape with a square medium is really impressive). Keeping with the spirit of my original model, I built a Panzergrenadier manned vehicle based on the famous SdKfz 251 ("Saving Private Ryan," (...) I completely agree with you that this is .space worthy. I've been noticing his new trains on brickshelf. there is another one I'm sure you've seen that has the AT canopy oriented vertically. Thanks Tony I think any lego piece can be used in some model for good. Hey if Jon Palmer can make a Duplo Egg popular then there's hope for any piece :). i've always wanted to do some sort of mech leg with those arms, and now I finally did. Now on (...) an exceptional model in many ways my favorite part is the use of slopes and hinges on the bottom, that are 'hatches' that fold open to expose various bits inside the belly of the ship. everyone does that, but NOT with slopes, and it was really cool (...) Dude, I have to build these as soon as I buy some more 1x3's on bricklink. I still have the mobius strip.
