The landing gear of the troop transport is akin to that of the Harrier jump jet. A pair of wheels extends near the nose and at the tail along the center line. It is a very nice job. In my traveling around D.C. on a nearly daily basis (not on the metro, but around it in my car) you can see how close it is to the rreal thing. I'm not Kevin, but I've certainly ridden the metro enough to answer :) The real Metro does sit very high on the trucks - it's not very noticable when you're on the platform. since everybody else has designed a motorcycle of their own, I thought I'd try my hand at one. it's 21 studs x 6 studs x 6.66 bricks. unfortunately, I lack the l33+ MLCAD skillz of many of you, so I had to build it "the old fashioned way".questions, (...) (...) The key is using SNOT subtly, and only when necessary. There are are actually parts that are completely upside down in this model (I'll let you try and find them) I usually prefer the look and strength of studs-up bricks, so I tend to use SNOT (...)
