Beautiful! Really inspired work! Excellent colour and sense, and
creative head designs. Simply great!

Thanks. :^)

The Helldog ][ appears to have two ball joints at each knee-- is this
right? This would restrict movement to two dimensions, if I'm thinking
straight-- but aren't they one in front of the other? How does he swing
back and forth? It must be me...

He doesn't need to swing his legs back and forth since: a) He won't be
walking and b) I don't plan to make him sit down. My Hardygun mecha utilizes
the same construction, which is enough to move the legs around a bit for
interesting action poses. It doesn't allow universal movement, but I don't
require universal movement. The more movement you design into your mecha,
the less stable they are, and tend to fall over. So I decide what amount of
movement is required and then design for that. :^)
