I saw this last night and I must say, it's pretty cool! I like all the features
you crammed into the model. The movable wings are great, as is the landing
gear. The opening cockpit reminds me of the Daredevil Flight Squad set (6582).

Anyways, great job. You seem to have all the bases covered, Town, Technic,
Space...

One question though, gonna render it? ;-)

Mladen Pejic, over and out!

In lugnet.announce, Bram Lambrecht writes:
The Shrike Interceptor is built for high speed and maneuverability.  The wings
sweep to three different positions: when straight out, they provide the most
lift for takeoff and landing; when swept forward, they increase
maneuverability at sub-mach speeds for dogfight situations; and when
swept back, the jet can reach its top speed for those long hauls.  The landing
gear completely retracts, and the cockpit and the storage compartment behind • it
swing open.  Since my website isn't quite ready (and I already exceeded my • disk
quota), here's the Brickshelf gallery:

(...) features (...) Thanks! (...) We have a winner! The cockpit design was stolen straight from 6582. (...) Eventually, I guess :) When I take it apart... --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu (URL) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)
