Thanks, and yes, those are bionicle heads (well, feet, actually). I had
them, so I had to use them somehow.

There is a 2x2 turntable attached to the top and bottom of the front corner
of the wing. The wing and the plate underneath it are both covered in
tiles, so there is plenty of friction as the wings swing back and forth.
The only other thing that holds the wings in place are 1x1 round bricks at
both extremes. The 1x6 little hinged part in the back swings back and forth
to cover any gaps the wing leaves when it sweeps forward.
