since everybody else has designed a motorcycle of their own, I thought I'd
try my hand at one. it's 21 studs x 6 studs x 6.66 bricks. unfortunately, I
lack the l33+ MLCAD skillz of many of you, so I had to build it "the old
fashioned way".questions, comments, suggestions? just LMKWYT. (backstory and

-------BULLETIN: SIGMATEK ANNOUNCES CIVILIAN VEHICLE LINE-------
SigmaTek, one of the worlds largest designers of military weapons and
equipment, is bringing their expertise to the general public. in a surprise
press conference last night, SigmaTek''s Chief Test Pilot announced that
final testing had been completed on the company's first civilian venture.
this move comes as no surprise, considering the general peace which prevails
within human star systems. the initial offering is aimed at customers who
don't believe there is such a thing as "too fast". the CV-7 "Vector" is a
high-powered motorcycle bult around a huge linear-fusion core. most
noticeable about the Vector is it's sheer size. while most motorcycles are
built small, SigmaTek has gone to the other extreme. the driving wheel on
this behemoth is over 6 feet tall! a quartet of tuned exhaust pipes stand
out above it, and the massive magnetic brake-disc as a sight to behold.
after the initial shock had worn off, we members of the press were invited
to sit in the bike and give our opinions. the seats are filled with a
shock-gel that conforms to the rider's body, while all instrumentation is
projected on the inside of the rider's helmet. we were then informed that
this was only a static display model, and were shown to the elevator which
would take us to the underground testing facility, where the final prototype
was waiting. the size of the facility was staggering, but rightly so. the
company tested everything from personal weapons to heavy interceptor craft
here. most of us were not looking at the space itself, but rather at the
CV-7 which sat at the bottom of the ramp. the test pilot was already
strapped in and had his hand on the start key. he smirked and said "are
y'all ready for this?", to which we nodded enthusiastically. the sound of
that fusion-core spinning up was like nothing any of us had ever heard
before. what was more impressive, though, was after he had taken the bike
down to one end of the facility, so that he was barely visible, and gave us
a glimpse of the Vector's top speed. 200 miles per hour would've been
impressive, 300, shocking, but 386 miles per hour, we had to ask him to
drive past us again just to make sure. we are told that the first Vectors
will ship within the month, so look out.
