It really doesn't matter to me.  I was able to set up an alias for tin
configured to access lugnet in about 30 seconds.  I only raised the
issue becasue I understand that there are are people who have difficulty
configuring their newsreaders to access different servers.  Personally I
feel this is a symptom of their failure to adopt the One True OS, but
that's a religious issue:)  If Todd began hosting rtl, whether he
allowed crossposting or not, I would probably move rtl to the same setup
as lugnet, just to logically separate my reading, but again, it really
makes no difference to me.  This is strictly a 'helping others' issue:)

I have NS configured just fine to read both places with only one
installation and one copy of the executables, I can move between them at
will.

I am against hosting RTL here unless cross posting problems can be
solved and cross posting is allowed. I continue to hold the reasons
(relating to RTL not being as well structured as LN) I held before. But
I now feel those reasons are mitigated IFF crossposting can be solved.

The fractured threads problem is big and will get bigger.

For me: No voyager e-mail please. All snail-mail to Ada, please.
- Posting Binaries to RTL causes flamage... Don't do it, please.
- Stick to the facts when posting about others, please.
- This is a family newsgroup, thanks.
