  Re: Bulk 1x1 Bricks

(...) That presumes that: -you can get a 3033 blue tub -you only want regular LEGO colors I'm hoping for 1x1 tan, grey, darkgrey, brown, and so forth. Heck, why not bring out a version of the blue tub that's JUST earthtones/sand colors (or "modulex (...) (23 years ago, 19-Sep-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Believe me, printed bricks (other than some early ones) can absolutely safely be soaked. I have never had a printed brick be damaged, even when soaking for several weeks (yea, sometimes I get a bucket of LEGO soaking and then run out of time (...) Although I am patient, I must agree that the lack of light gray bulk packs surprises me. I would by many pounds of the stuff. But it's also completely understandable if they don't want to say something like "Um well, the sets that were slated to have lots of sand red weren't doing well on the market and the next ones coming down the pike did poorly in market analysis (...) (...) In fact the very first "bulk" part requested in this group was the cypress tree, by Mark Herzberg: (URL) when Bulk was defined as "not less than 1000 of the same part? It was that thread. Coming in May 2000. Hey, we got the cypress trees. The (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

You're right, this was all done by adult fans for adult fans. I was just trying to dig out some of Lugnet's past for you that you might have missed. Lego have used real consumer research at other times (we saw a questionaire at Brickfest for (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Fair enough. (...) Just curious... did that questionaire ever show up on LEGO.com or even LUGNET?
