  Re: CFD: rec.toys.lego feed here

(...) Heh heh, I know. :) I wouldn't do it; it was just there for completness. (...) Well, I guess half for the reasons you brought up last week about what's been happening to sff.* groups, and half because of confusions that will inevitably arise. (...)   Re: what is this folow up thingy?

(...) You know, I see older people like this and I can almost understand it - almost. Not fully, though, because we ARE human beings after all, so much of our life experience is gained by testing, playing, trying, exploring. So I don't always buy it (...)   Re: lugnet.* discussion groups by mail

(...) Actually, Todd, this might be a way to deal with gatewaying lists. It's not nearly so transparent, but it kinda sidesteps some of the problematic issues. Have a lugnet.list.crynwr-robotics, and autopost daily a digest of messages from that (...) (26 years ago, 26-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

  CM package

In a previous post I wrote that Cybermaster comes in a cardbox box instead of the alu/plastic case depicted in the catalog. This was based on observations in the Netherlands. This weekend however, I noticed that the set *does* come in an aluminium (...) (26 years ago, 16-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Source for bend sensor?

(...) <snip> There was a guy on the HB list a few months back offering to sell bend sensors for a reasonable price. I figured that if he's into robotics, then he's probably one of the good guys. I took a chance and sent him a few bucks, but I (...) (26 years ago, 27-Oct-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Re: Why do I beat my head against the wall?

(...) All I can suggest is to realize that this is the way eBay works, and if you want to win a set, the best way is to snipe. It's snipe or be sniped when the item is highly sought after. I've found that it's often best to post a low bid early and (...) (26 years ago, 28-Oct-98, to lugnet.market.auction)
