  Re: Muskegon?

(...) Steve Bliss and myself live in the Grand Rapids area, which is about 40 or so miles from Muskegon... When are you going to be in the area? (typically when I post to a .loc.us group that I am going to be somewhere, I give the date range I'm (...) (22 years ago, 11-Aug-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: Complete winners list anywhere?

(...) It may be more accurate to post who didn't win... many many people got at least a choice from the leftovers at the end. (22 years ago, 11-Aug-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Brickfest 2002: LEGO Direct Q&A by Phillip Thorne

This synopsis has been posted on BimP (URL) then click events, then in the event reviews section select the third item. Much more coherent than my as it happened transcription.   Re: MOTM and SOTM winners for July 2002

(...) Yep. But what is going to happen this month is fine, I guess... I wouldn't change the rules out from under this month's entry. They win. :-) Going forward... This may be too complex but perhaps you could roll over those previous month entries (...) (22 years ago, 11-Aug-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

(...) I guess! Was this a contest? :-) I'm torn between having lots of stuff because it's neat and it's one stop shopping, and not having so much that it's overwhelming and stuff gets lost. Difficult balance. lugnet.trains may be too far in the (...) (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Instant Runoff Voting

(...) I would tend to agree.... the only way I would say the ballot would be spoiled would be if it was not clear what was intended. If I voted 1-A, 2-B and 3-A (again) that might be argued to be ambiguous. (or might not) To Ross, I'm not sure (...) (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: 10025 Santa Fe Cars I - just received them!!

(...) Based on seeing the preproduction prototypes, I assert they are not that color. I would characterise them as being somewhat metallicised or iridescent, the plastic is a bit translucent to a small depth and there are flecks or sparkles in. I (...) (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I went with "What is hot in lugnet.trains" for now... (URL) (it's below the trains poster which I think stays on top. Not sure how far down to move it though, our sidebar has a lot of stuff in it... for right now it's second on the list) (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.admin.curators)
