| Hi! I still got a question about something I found on the ftp server ftp.media.mit.edu/pu...ick.ps.gz. This file is talking about another CPU board. Fred could you explain where to find more information about this and/or explanations. Thanks. (...) (28 years ago, 5-Nov-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

| David, Althuogh I don't have an expansion board either, I am in the middle of testing some code that I wrote to program pi16c84s. Typically, if you are powering your system from the SIB, this indicates some kind of board short. I would remomve all (...) (28 years ago, 19-Oct-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

| Several possibilities: * sometimes serial port stuff breaks on the fastest machines. do you have a slower computer you can try? * the cable is straight-thru (a modem cable, actually). * did you check that the interface output voltages behaved (...) | | using Buffalo with the HB
|
| Ronan -- I don't think it's the LCD per se that is causing problems, but rather the fact that the HB runs the 6811 in special mode. The main effect of this is that the interrupt vectors, including the reset vector, live at $bfc0 to $bfff rather than (...) (28 years ago, 1-Oct-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

| Good question. In principle, the answer is yes. The base requirements for running IC are the 6811, 32K ram, and a serial port. In practice, no one has modified the pcode for a "generic" system configuration. One tricky part would be disabling the (...) (28 years ago, 17-Sep-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
