right; randy sargent's dl does automatically check the config and burn
it if it's wrong. so your config is probably okay.

wait; you mean "pcode_hb.S19," right?
when it downloads it doesn't give any errors? but the pcode still
won't run.
try removing the LCD screen before download and run the pcode with the
screen removed. if the board is otherwise okay you will hear a
repetitious clicking when attempting to run the pcode.
in general when i see the row of all black on the LCD, it does
indicate some kind of power problem. i would try measuring system
voltage, make sure there is +5v on Vcc pins; see if any chips are
getting hot; try pulling chips to see if the "all black" goes away.
