Retail rant, was Re: ?Best Lego Retailer?

(...) Neither of these two items is particularily secret, yes. In fact, I'd be almost safe to say there are almost no cool Toronto Lego secrets anymore. Lego I suspect has changed it's business model from what I can tell to hold back most of the (...) (23 years ago, 28-Sep-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Palantine Steamer with Wagons Set

Jumping from the latest "high speed" rail model, I have now tried an older fashioned model. This train set is modeled after the Palantine steamer and wagon set.   The Guarded Inn just "felt" right

Unlike everyone else who seemed to order 10000 right out of the gate, I just now got around to getting this Legends kit. I won't gush about it... this has been talked about so much before here. Rather, I just wanted to say that it felt so good to (...) (23 years ago, 3-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.dear-lego)

  2 legends questions & a suggestion

1.how would licecncing affect re-issues? Would lego still be able to re-issue, say, the 377 shell gas station for example, even though lego had to licence the rights from shell to use the name? What about for example, the origonal town 1682 space (...) (23 years ago, 19-Oct-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Don't get me wrong, I think legends is one of the most phenominal things ever (that and the Sopwith Camel).
