  Re: Any 9v train update?

(...) Dean, If I understand your question correctly, you are asking, what prevents one from designing a 9V version of 7898 using LDD and ordering that one? The answer is, LDD has a limited palette of brick types and colors. The 7898 set uses a (...) (18 years ago, 6-Dec-06, to lugnet.trains)

Passo a proporvele, vorrei sapere cosa ne pensate. Cominciamo con la più cruenta: 1. (...) (18 years ago, 8-Dec-06, to lugnet.org.it.itlug, FTX)

LEGO Shop Bluewater (LSB) - opening report

I got to the shop just before its 1:00pm opening yesterday. An 8' tall Bat Lord was wandering around in the mall, while a number of shop assistants were enticing the young (and not so young) with LEGO bricks imprinted with "August 1999" - not (...) (25 years ago, 3-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

How do I replace ink in a Lego pen?

I have the old Lego Adventurers pen, but it's run dry. I can't figure out how to get the old ink cartridge out of it - I can unscrew the lower part of the pen from the upper part with the Lego pieces, but I can't unscrew anything on the lower part (...) (...) Ah, finally the penny (rather than other unsavoury matter) drops! So what old model rail trick do you have to do to the track to make it work in a neat and orderly fashion? (Good grief, it's like pulling teeth. Remind me not to try anything (...) (19 years ago, 5-May-06, to lugnet.trains)

  Space Brique Type F Mecha

Ahoy again, The Space Brique Type F Mecha is my attempt at a 'female' version of the Type E. I started off by removing one of the chest bricks from the Type E and moving on from there, but that turned out not to be the best approach, so I built it (...)   Re: Copy the Tyco "terrain Twister" screw drive?

I think the flex tube is a good idea. I would use the 4x4 round brick with holes (peeron part #6222) spaced on an axle to make build the supporting framework. Attach some Angle connector #1 (peeron part 32013) to the holes on the circumference of (...) (18 years ago, 6-Dec-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: NXT to NXT communication?

(...) I can't figure out a easy way for me to test PC-to-NXT timelag, but I tried some simple bench tests on NXT-to-NXT. This is just the old standard of two timed loops (10,0000 interations), one empty, and one with a single block (or two), and (...) (19 years ago, 5-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

While I also have some misgivings about the apparent decrease in the use of studded Technic bricks, probably money is the way to talk - instead of buying sets without studs, go buy multiple copies of the ones with studs, a good starter is (...)   Re: MCP - Mecha City Project
